About
This project aims to analyze a semi-active intelligent reflecting surface (IRS)-assisted satellite communication system, considering uplink, downlink, and full duplex systems. Due to the high risk of self-interference, the team plans to thoroughly analyze the system, simulate it, and adopt a beamforming-based technique to mitigate interferences. The first level of verification will involve comparing theoretical and simulated results. The testbed implementation will be developed, and the results will be corroborated with theoretical and simulation results for final verification. The testbed will be tested using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) hovering at high altitude for real-time testing.
