About
This project aims to study specific biological problems to understand how collective non-equilibrium flows are generated at cellular and tissue scales. Living systems often exhibit new properties at larger spatial scales due to the interaction among microscopic constituents. The study will focus on fast time-scale processes and long wavelength hydrodynamic modes, using theoretical concepts from statistical physics and condensed matter physics. This will help understand how cells perform essential tasks and create complex tissue shapes.
