Project Overview
Aim of the project is to study the Cohen-Macaulayness of the blowup algebras of symbolic powers of ideals. It also address Hartshorne's conjectures which states that every irreducible closed curve in a projective 3-space is a set-theoretic complete intersection. This is a hard problem which is open in general.
