Project Overview
The researcher aimes to study two aspects of Algebraic Geometry - The study of the topology of Algebraic Varieties with special emphasis on algebraic surfaces, and the study of vector bundles and principal bundles defined on them. The topological aspects involve understanding the homology and homotopy groups of these varieties and the study of Principal bundles involves studying individual bundles and their moduli spaces/ moduli stacks with techniques coming from Algebraic Groups.
