Project Overview
The author's project motivation is to use stochastic geometry techniques to model mobile communication networks, particularly vehicular communication networks. They have found that Poisson point process is a popular tool for this purpose, but it fails to account for the spatial coupling between nodes in real-life scenarios. To address this, researchers have started using the Poisson line Cox process to model vehicular communication networks. This method involves modeling roads using a Poisson line process (PLP) and vehicles using a Poisson point process (PPP). The author proposes using better modeling approaches in the SERB-MATRICS project. The project proposal includes details of implementations over three years, motivation, and relevant references for easy understanding.
