About
The study explores Tate cohomology groups of Triality invariant lattices in irreducible smooth representations of the p-adic group PSO(8, F). The research is motivated by Treumann and Venkatesh's conjectures on Smith theory and Langlands functoriality lifting of mod-l Hecke eigenvalues. The authors aim to verify these conjectures for cuspidal representations using the compact induction model, as explicit local Langlands correspondence is established for all relevant groups. They have also developed analogues for the Base change setting of GL(n).
