About
Researchers recently reported a new class of chiral hemilabile (P,N)-ligands which are named as Ad-ChetPhos, tBu-ChetPhos, Ad-(H8)ChetPhos and tBu-(H8)ChetPhos. The patent entitled “Optically Active P,N-ligands and their Applications in Metal Catalysis” (Application Number: 202221009636; Filing Date: 23-02-2022; Contributors: Chetan C. Chintawar, Vivek W. Bhoyare and Nitin T. Patil) has already been filed. After filing the patent, the work has been published in J. Am. Chem. Soc., 2022, 144, 7089. In this work, PIs have shown that these ligands can be efficiently used for gold-catalyzed enantioselective 1,2-oxyarylation and 1,2-aminoarylation of alkenes.
