About
The study aims to explore non-linear interactions between active ensembles in various physical systems. The first focus is on the path selection problem in a self-propelled liquid on a liquid system, which could provide insights into the workings of arteries in the human body. The second focus is on a solid on a liquid system with non-deformable particles at the air-water interface, providing a cm-scale analog to nematic crystals, and revealing the basic forces at work in these systems.
