About
After the Higgs boson discovery, particle physicists' prime aim is to understand and reveal the physics at much smaller length scales, i.e., at relatively higher energy (around a few TeV). The shortcomings of the SM, e.g., the origin of neutrino mass, dark matter, stabilization of Higgs mass, etc compel us to believe in the existence of new physics beyond the SM (BSM). But, to date, unfortunately, we have not found any concrete and(or) direct evidence(s) of any signature of BSM in the ongoing experiments. My current research aims to develop a methodology, relying on an effective field theory (EFT) framework, to perform a comparative analysis among various phenomenologically motivated BSM scenarios in the light of electroweak precision observables, collider data, and implying exclusion limits from rare processes.
