Project Overview

Nitrogen-containing heterocycles are important fragments of numerous natural products, pharmaceuticals, designed bioactive drug candidates, and agrochemicals. The synthetic chemistry community has given these compounds a lot of attention over the past few decades, and much work has gone into the creation of clear and effective procedures for the synthesis of these heterocyclic skeletons. The main aim of the project is to provide practical bioactive heterocyclic frameworks containing the nitrogen atom, such as quinolines, pyridines, pyrazines, pyrroles, indoles, oxazoles, imidazoles, thiazoles, isothiazoles, etc. whilst also keeping in consideration the impact of sustainable and green chemistry. This will hopefully open new possibilities and increases the scope of synthetic heterocyclic chemistry operations
