About
Motivated by the recently available experimental data for beta decay properties in the different regions of the nuclear chart, we will study five forefront areas using the shell model. Shell model study for forbidden non-unique (FNU) beta decay; shell model study for forbidden unique (FU) beta decay, Electron Spectra, and e?ective value of gA and Gamow-Teller strength distributions and electron capture rates in the medium and heavier mass region. We will also study a systematic study of the effects of two-body currents in GT transition strength and half-life and branching ratio of selected double beta decay candidates.
