About
Keeping the fact in mind that flexible organic molecules based on donor-acceptor subunits can emit through a broad range in the visible spectrum in a solid and colloidal state, we would like to design and develop several innovative, flexible organic molecules based on the various photophysical mechanism that could show multiple optoelectronic functionalities which are rarely observed in a single molecular platform. The present proposal is expected to reveal a design strategy opening new avenues for developing multifunctional materials promising for versatile optoelectronic applications. Molecular motion and dynamics in the solid state will also be explored to find the unveiling aspects of how molecular motion and ultrafast photophysics affect the solid-state brightness, hoping to stimulate new ideas and inspire new endeavors in this area.
