A promising precast technology is proposed using a double-skinned sCs wall panel subjected to bullet impact. The wall panels have trapezoidal profile steel sheets in their outer skins and concrete as the infill core. In the view of investigating the influence of various parameters. five different steel plates thickness such as 2,4,6,8,10 mm , three different concrete infill thicknesses such as 50,75,100 mm, three different bullet hitting angles such as 0,25,50 degrees and three different hitting locations are subjected in this investigation. Wall panels of 1.2mx1.2m are considered with simply supported conditions are considered. For preliminary studies, axial compression and lateral loading on the walls as well as bending stiffness using four-point flexural loading will be carried out experimentally for 13 different cases to determine the design parameters for impact studies. Numerical analysis using ABAQUs FEA will help to support the experimental works and hence, determine the reliability of the proposed panel. Design models will be proposed for preparing the guidelines for design of DsCW composite panels for bullet impact loading.The panel hence proposed will be used for safe military shelters at defense locations.
