Principal Investigator
Prof. Laxmeesha Somappa
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay
About
Focus of this work is to develop precision frequency readout system on chip (SoC) that can cater a wide range of applications like MEMS based gravity measurements, seismic activity monitoring, earth tide monitoring, inertial navigation, pollution monitoring etc. To cater this wide range of application, the SoC must be universal in its precision across a wide range of frequencies with a programmable resolution to cater for specific applications. Further, in the long-term the SoC can replace table-top frequency counters that are currently imported from outside India.
