About

Propeller-assisted flying vehicles are now progressively prevalent. Meanwhile, propeller-associated noise pollution is the main hindrance to developing real-time applications of propeller aircraft and drones in urban areas. Propeller/rotor generated high amplitude noise emissions restrict the propeller-powered aircraft, fans, wind turbines, drones, compressors, and turbines from their real-time applications. Propeller geometric parameters such as blade diameter, pitch, blade numbers, blade thickness, chord length, and camber, and flow parameters such as rotational speed, inflow velocity, and inflow turbulence significantly alter the noise level during take-off and cruise conditions. The project is vital for the current status because of its wide range of applications in several areas, such as aircraft, drones, wind turbines, fans, turbines, and compressors. Finding an optimal solution for the design of propeller-assisted vehicles with minimum Effective Perceived Noise Levels (EPNL) is the key to the success of future air transportation.
