Specially-abled people often struggle to express their thoughts due to the lack of knowledge of sign language and communication with the blind through morse/braille code. This leads to a struggling environment for these individuals, as spoken languages and audio communication dominate society. The communication gap between speech and hearing impaired people and the world around them promotes insecurity and loneliness, leading to introverted personalities. Technology can help overcome this barrier by automatically generating text/audio into sign language and morse code. A smartphone application is proposed to assist normal people in communication with speech, hearing, and visually impaired people. A model will be developed to convert text/speech into sign language using animation/pre-recorded videos for deaf/mute people and morse codes that can be felt as vibrations/sounds for blind people. The main purpose of this project is to bridge the communication gap between normal and specially-abled people. For deaf-mute populations, the Indian Sign Language (ISL) will be generated, allowing anyone to transform normal speech to ISL. The project aims to create awareness of ISL among everyone, as it is still in development. To ease communication with blind people, morse codes will be generated through vibrations of different time periods and intensity, creating 'dit', 'dah', and pause codes of morse.
