About
Gene-environment interactions are very critical in determining the yield of any crop type. It implies that in altered environment gene co expression networks will alter. In the proposed study I intend to undertake how salinity affects the gene co expression network so that we can identify the key players contributing to salinity stress response. In the present study I intend to undertake how salinity affects the gene co expression network. This study will have great agricultural impact beacause it is projected that by 2025 India will have 11.7Mha area under salinity and sodicity. The finding of this theoretical research can be useful in designing future experiments to combat salinity stress which will have great impact on the annual budget of the Government.
