The goal of this project is to develop mathematical tools to derive efficient and reliable a posteriori error estimates for the parabolic integro-differential equations with positive type kernels in the L∞(0,T;L²(D))-norm for different space-time finite element based schemes using recent developments in the analysis of PDEs.
