The proposed study would deliver the following expected outcomes: • The study will help to understand the consumers’ intention for practicing vehicle scrappage in context of India. • The proposed project would help in designing the subsidy scheme for vehicle scrappage and switching to electric vehicles (EVs). • The study will help the policy maker/Government in understanding consumer behavior while availing subsidies to opt for eco-friendly vehicles (EVs). • The study will cater a decision support model to the policymaker/Govt. agency, to help in implementing the policy for optimal vehicle fleet replacement
