Project Overview

A high-speed robotic computing accelerator based on Inverse Kinematics, Jacobian, and Inverse operation will be developed. The focus will be given on linear algebra related to vector and matrix operation, contains floating point adder/subtractor and multiplier. First, we will implement the accelerator in FPGAs, then will be integrated with robot-operating-system (ROS). As a case study, we will embed the accelerator in a mobile robot to demonstrate the usability of project outcomes.
