Project Overview

This project aims to design ultrasound-responsive colloidal nanodrugs for cell therapy applications. The nanodrugs can be sonosensitizers, peizocatalytic nanoparticles, and carbonate nanoparticles. The functionalization of these nanodrugs will allow selective cell labeling, enhanced drug delivery via the membrane/blood-brain barrier, and sound-responsive properties through the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS). The cell/blood-brain barrier model will be treated with the colloidal nanodrug and therapeutic ultrasound, with therapeutic performance investigated using cellular imaging and biochemical methods. The project aims to explore emerging biomedical applications, offering ultrasound-assisted alternative treatment of diseases. The team has developed a library of functional nanoparticles, imaging nanoprobes, and nanodrugs for inhibiting protein aggregation and wireless cell therapy. The project aims to extend their expertise in this emerging field.
