About
The overall objective of this project synthesis and control the various metal-organic frameworks (MOF) structures by different approaches such as varying solvent types, solvent ratios, organic linkers, and pH. More interestingly, other than their direct use in energy harvesting and storage, MOF-derived porous nanomaterials are also used in various applications. The project is aimed to synthesis MOF-based material in the field of energy storage and conversion systems, including fuel cells, lithium-ion batteries, supercapacitors, and solar cells; because of their large accessible surface area, tunable size and pore volume, and incorporated metal centers. To enhance the power conversion efficiency of perovskite solar cells, incorporating MOF-based materials into perovskite junctions is a simple approach. Due to the presence of the micropores in MOF, the crystallinity of the perovskite thin films can be significantly improved, and possible to achieve higher PCE output from a solar cell.
