Project Overview

The energy portfolio by 2040 will emerge with Fuel Cell based Electrical power grids/vehicles along with solar energy/renewable energy and nuclear power. This project work focus on polymer electrolytes to meet technological development and challenges of alternate source of energy such as fuel cells and batteries. To address the most challenging problems in modern fuel cell technology, the development of environmental friendly media (for both industrial and laboratory-scale usage) is proposed using Anion-Exchange-Membrane Fuel cells (AEMFCs). AEMs are the perfect replacement of acid-based proton exchange membranes being cost effective (efficacy for non-Pt catalyst) with balanced conductivity and mechanical strength in high pH media.
