About
Inverted Perovskite Solar Cells (PSCs) are better alternative to standard PSCs because of their prominence in facile and low-cost device fabrication process and enhanced power conversion efficiency reports. The existing high-cost issues, depleting fuel energy resources in the field of energy consumption could be overcome by the approach of utilizing renewable energy sources owing to their reliability and sustainability features. The issues associated with traditional PSCs are low charge mobility, durability, reduced current extraction, nonradiative recombination losses, susceptibility to UV lights and hysteresis loss owing to individual layers. This limits the performance of PSCs in various aspects like reproducibility, stability, photo voltage, fill factor and efficiency. Keeping these short-comings in concern, the present proposal is aimed at providing a promising and effective solution to leap the existing issues in PSCs. It has been proposed to develop an ingenious Inverted PSCs with layer-wise novelties to meet out the demands with long-term durability and high-efficiency. In every layer of PSCs like Electron Transport, Hole Transport and Perovskite Layer, an innovation has been infused to tap the best of the proposed device. A major modernization proposed is the concatenation of a downshifting layer as Core-Shell Quantum Dots to elongate device stability. Therefore, the proposed device would definitely have a plausible influence on our society making it a modest yet reliable product in the field of energy.
