About
All-solid-state batteries (ASSB) are attracting a lot of interest for electric vehicles because of the promise of higher safety and much faster charging compared to the state of the art. This promise comes from the use of solid electrolytes that however pose morphological challenges to the way battery electrodes are designed. These challenges involve tuning ASSB electrode properties that are functions of electrode microstructure. This project aims to build mathematical models that will predict electrode functional properties using experimentally measurable microstructural parameters.
