Project Overview
The past few decades have seen significant progress in designing electronic devices at the nano-scale level, with smaller, more efficient devices becoming more efficient and consuming less power. My research plan focuses on theoretical studies of quantum transport phenomena in nanoscale systems, focusing on basic understanding of nanoscale systems and developing new theories and methodologies. My research will also explore topological photonics, non-equilibrium/Floquet matter physics, quasi-periodic crystals, efficient logic gates, memory devices, parallel computations, and Giant Magneto Resistance, which will enable more information storage in computer hard drives. My goal is to enhance our understanding of different nanoscale systems and our ability to design and control charge and spin-based nano-electronic devices.
