In this project, inclusive and differential next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) QCD cross-sections would be calculated taking into account various production processes that are phenomenologically important at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The effect of fiducial cuts on the asymptotic behaviour of two non-local slicing methods would be studied in detail. Alongside, next-to-leading order (NLO) electroweak corrections would also be evaluated as their effect at high transverse momentum region could become non-negligible. Effort would be put to improve the performance of two slicing methods; either by calculating power corrections for the N-jettiness slicing, or by devising a surrogate of transverse momentum slicing to deal with coloured final states.
