Research Projects

The technology relates to biomarkers useful for detection of types, grades and stages of human breast cancer. This invention particularly relates to the development of these identified biomarkers as a microRNA (miRNA) chip for the early and accurate diagnosis of human breast cancer. The miRNAs could be used as a diagnostic kit (miRNA chip) for early and accurate detection of breast cancer grades, stages and subtypes. Few to hundreds of samples can be checked within a span of 2 to 3 hrs and hence this becomes an easy, fast, robust and high throughput technology for screening program for early detection of breast cancer.
