FUNGISOMETM, India’s first Liposomal Amphotericin B developed by employing DBT technology was transferred to M/s. Lifecare Innovations Pvt. Ltd. by NRDC. The technology was licensed to the company to commercialise and further improve the formulation to overcome the doses related toxicities of Amphotericin-B as compared to the imported lipid formulations such as AmBisome, Ampholip (Abelcet) and Amphocil (Amphotek).
