Vijetha is a bed disinfectant applied on silkworm rearing bed to avoid pathogenic causing infectious diseases to silkworm. The Central Silk Board has developed the technology for the manufacture of Vijetha and the Corporation has licensed the technology to M/s Tetragon Chemi Ltd., Bangalore who has successfully started commercial production. The use of this technology in sericulture industry has helped to increase the silk production substantially in the country.
