Project Overview
To assess dynamics of productivity, profitability, nutrient use efficiency and sustainability of long term fertility management in sunflower – sorghum cropping system in Alfisols. To assess productivity, profitability and resource use pattern of new and emerging crop sequences involving sunflower in Vertisols. To assess productivity, profitability and resource use pattern of intercropping systems involving sunflower in Alfisols* and Vertisols under rainfed conditions. *To explore the changes in soil metagenome under varied backgrounds of long term nutrient management. To demonstrate integrated crop management for assessing productivity and profitability of sunflower in Alfisols* and Vertisols. Statistical assessment of long term fertilizer experiment
