Project Overview
Various cast super alloys (XH43, IN 718, XH62, and XH67) are being used in our space programme. It is necessary to take up extensive studies on characterization of these super alloy and optimization of heat treatment parameters and compositions for better performance. Material for heat treatment studies shall be provided by VSSC in the form of test bar.
