Project Overview
The proposal aims to create a novel piperidine tethered exocyclic diene for the asymmetric D-A reaction through LUMO activation. The goal is to synthesize decahydroquinoline alkaloids with significant biological activities, particularly anti-Alzhemier activity, which could be useful in synthesizing lycopodium alkaloids and their analogs.
