Project Overview
The existence of SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater has drawn interest in its use for sentinel surveillance at a community level and as a complementary approach to syndromic surveillance. Through this work, foundations for Wastewater Based Epidemiology (WBE) can be set and formed. The current adverse possessions formed by the COVID-19 epidemic strains consequence new finding approaches for upcoming viral outpourings. The effluent surveillance, known as wastewater-based epidemiology (WWBE), can truly shade viral epidemics and bring a conforming clinical testing technique. A novel theory and decision-support tool based on wastewater (on-site sanitation, municipal sewer systems), raw/untreated, solid waste, and drinking water is predictable for understanding SARS CoV-2. WWBE will be done on the basis of RNA extraction, Reverse Transcriptase-q Polymerase Chain Reaction, whole genome sequencing and SARS CoV-2 gene assembly in collected water and wastewater. The findings demonstrated the untapped potential using wastewater-based epidemiology surveillance of SARS-CoV-2 as an early warning tool for the practical application of city zonation based on wastewater monitoring data for present and projected situations. This technique may aid authorities in identifying city-wide vulnerabilities and fine-tuning effective management strategies.
