Project Overview

The main objective of the project is to develop a flood alert and management system for Kerala.It is proposed to use Radar datasets of Pamba and Achankoil river basins as both these basins had a larger impact on Kerala floods during 2018 amd 2019. This project proposal aims to provide an aid for flood managers in making plans for damage preparedness against associating vulnerabilities, mainly focused on Pamba and Achankoil riversheds/flood events.
