Project Overview

Microfluidic biochips are emerging technologies that offer promising solutions for healthcare, including point-of-care diagnostics, DNA sequencing, biochemical, and clinical chemistry. However, these biochips are vulnerable to cyber threats, particularly hardware Trojans. To protect these devices, a proposed project focuses on detecting and diagnosing against hardware Trojans and protecting biochip secret information. Deep Learning techniques can be used to analyze these attacks, and regular monitoring of bio-laboratories using solar Energy-driven drones for validation and data analysis. The proposed project focuses on an authentication mechanism with an error control mechanism that provides reliability, authentication, trustworthiness, and safety for storage, application, and communication of intellectual property (IP) for microfluidic biochips. simulation results using deep learning algorithms demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed smart security model without the overhead of bioprotocol completion time. The goal is to develop a secure and smart design flow for microfluidic biochips, achieving better resistance to attacks using emerging technologies like deep learning and IoT.
