Project Overview
The study aims to synthesize an Al alloy with compatible alloying elements to reduce or eliminate corrosion of aluminium used in Al-air batteries. The developed material will be characterized, including its physical properties, and feasibility studied for effective use in Al-air batteries. A prototype Al-air battery will be fabricated and tested in vehicles, with the expected outcome being a sustainable green energy resource. The Al-air battery will be an effective solution for electric vehicles, wireless communication, education, health, and storing life-saving medicines and vaccines. Recycling byproducts will also contribute to the environmental impact of aluminium recovery.
