Project Overview

Objective: Determine the changes in epigenetic modification, transcriptomic, proteomic and metabolomic profile in Liver and skeletal muscle in pups born to paternal vitamin B 12 deficient rats. To evaluate if vitamin B12 deficiency induced alteration of lipid levels are directly mediated by PPAR a. Compare the pathways and processes affected by maternal and paternal vitamin B 12 deficiency and identify the commonality or differences there of to find a common/differential mechanism for the phenotypic changes.
