Resham Jyothi (RJ) is an improved wide spectrum silkworm bed disinfectant used for the management (prevention/ control) of different silkworm diseases like Grasserie, Bacterial Flacherie, Muscardine, Infectious Flacherie and Pebrine. About 2.5 to 3 kg of RJ is required for rearing 100 disease free layings (dfl) which works out to be Rs. 60 to Rs. 75 per 100 dfls.
