Novel Process for Preparation of Carbon Nanotube for Industrial Applications

Implementing Organization

Central Leather Research Institute (CLRI)

Project Overview

A process relating to the preparation of carbon nanotubes by catalytic decomposition of cycloalkane over a trimetallic oxide calyst prepared by sol-gel method. In this process, no secondary pollutant is emmitted, Ground water contamination is avoided and treated wastewater is recycled. No final disinfection is required.

Benefits

Treatment of wastewater discharged from Industrial and domestic sectors
, Can be used as disinfectant
, Low foot print requirement
, Low electrical energy consumption
, No odour emission
, Low operation cost
, Minimum sludge production
, Process can be integrated with FICCO, CAACO technologies to perform better than imported technologies
