A Hyderabad-based start-up, STATWIG, uses the same product to track the COVID-19-related critical products to give visibility at state and district levels. The startup developed an open-source tool for UNICEF (funded by UNICEF Innovation Fund) and GAVI, which is used for tracking critical vaccines from production to inventory management at national/state/district levels so that it can be delivered quickly and efficiently in the field. The technology was evaluated by COVID-19 comprising of Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council, Department of Science & Technology, Department of Biotechnology, AGNIi, Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser, and AIM- NITI Aayog.
