The Lab has isolated important andrographolide, neo-andrographolides and graphisides from the plant for testing their efficacy against SARS-CoV-2/ COVID-19. In silico target-based screening studies suggests that some of these can inhibit critical proteins like the CL-proteinase of the pathogen.
