Project Overview

The developed product is shelf-stable up to a period of 10 to 12 months and heat resistant up to the temperature of 100 degree Celsius. It is found to be ideal for replacing the single-use plastics. It can be used in classic ovens/ microwave oven.

Benefits

The developed product Eco friendly, biodegradable, microwave friendly, can hold water content for some time, not smelly, aesthetic looking, eatable if required, edible flavors to be added to get different tastes and colors. It is having huge potential especially for Indian Railways (IRCTC), Airlines, Temples, Gurdwaras, where ever hot and cold meals are served. It can be used in classic ovens/ microwave oven.
