The technology used in the device is annular illumination in a handheld device to get high-quality retina images, which can be used to screen for various conditions of the retina. Remidio has an Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithm to check the presence of diabetic retinopathy and Glaucoma by measuring the cup and disc ratio.
