Project Overview

Three bio-pesticide formulations having the active ingredients of Trichoderma asperellum 2%SL, Beauveria bassiana 5%SL and Metarhizium anisopliae 5%SL. They proved to effectively control insect pests like mites and tea mosquito bugs, and diseases like die back and branch canker.

Benefits

75-85 lakhs sales of tea pest-related pesticides. Export licence has also been obtained for Beauveria and registration in Kenya is being carried out.
