Ridger type sugarcane cutter- planter, PTO driven, was developed for planting of sugarcane which performs major operations involved in cane planting at a spacing of 75/90 cm. It has effective capacity of planting one ha in 4-5 hours and saves approximately 60% cost of planting operation.
