Photon pair generation in hybrid metasurfaces of two-dimensional material - Dielectric sub- wavelength structures for quantum applications

Project Overview

The main objective of this research work is to demonstrate correlated photon pair generation and nonlinear frequency up-conversion in hybrid metasurfaces composed of two-dimensional materials integrated with sub-wavelength structures. This objective will be accomplished through detailed Electromagnetic simulations, photonic structure fabrication, two-dimensional materail integration and experimenatl characterization.
