The project aimed at production of oxygen and hydrocarbons from the martian atmosphere for returning vehicles.The study includes: 1. Development of catalysts for conversion of atmospheric carbon dioxide in to hydrocarbons and oxygen. 2. Development of prototype devices that enable conversion of carbon dioxide into hydrocarbons and oxygen.
