National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT) has built an all-weather floating buoy in the sea for powering a beacon lamp on top of the buoy and oceanographic-related components using energy extracted from the ocean waves. The floating buoy can be used as a navigational buoy in ports and harbors.
