Vegetable are used to supplement the staple food but some are grown to please the taste and drumstick (Moringa oleifera Lam) is one of them which is also known as horse radish. Drumstick is a tropical vegetable, which is very popular in South India and other parts of country. It gives a very distinct palatable taste and is one of the richest source of glutamic acid among vegetable kingdom
